Information for Participants​
Please read the following message from Ski Coordinator Morgan Rowell:
Gunstock will open Friday 12/8 so we want all of you to be prepared to start your winter season off without any roadblocks. At this time all participants will need to upload current headshots to outreach@gunstock.com Please make sure you include your name and that you are a participant in the Strafford Outreach program. Additionally, please go onto your Gunstock account and sign all waivers and forms. There is a new policy this year that if you have any unsigned waivers and are without a picture you will not be permitted to ride the lifts.
Gunstock is hosting a Family pass night December 13th from 5-8 p.m. and all participants are invited to attend. Families will be able to get fitted for rental equipment and get their pictures taken at the ticket office rather than uploading them online, as well as touring the new rental facility. Furthermore, if you attend, you will be entered into a raffle to win a 4 pack tubing package!
Strafford ski/snowboard lessons will take place in Session 2 on Fridays. Below are the dates:
Friday 2/9, 2/16, 3/8, 3/15
3/22 is makeup date for day groups only

All Session 2 Make-Up Dates are dependent on conditions. The scheduled last day for Gunstock’s Night Operations is
March 16, 2024; make-up dates for night group cancellations will be managed on a case-by-case basis with no guarantee of availability.
All Session 2 Programs will have a two-week break (2/19-3/1 Mass & NH School Vacation Weeks).

What is the Outreach Program?
Gunstock’s Outreach Program is a 4-week program coordinated through our rec department to offer snow sport recreation opportunities to ages 8 – High School Seniors within our community . Students must register with our group to be able to participate in the Outreach Program. Students registered in the Outreach Program receive: a Midweek or Prime Pass, good all season long; a 50-minute lesson, only available during your groups 4 scheduled Program days; and complimentary rentals, during the 4 scheduled Program days. (4) or (6) BFF 50% off Vouchers for friends and family depending on when you register. Midweek & Prime Season passes receive Lift Ticket Vouchers.

GUNSTOCK'S NEW AGE REQUIREMENT FOR OUTREACH PROGRAM: 8 YEARS OLD AT START OF SESSION - HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR
If your child participated last year, your child will be able to buy an outreach pass but will not be able to participate in lessons, Free rentals will be provided if your child decides to ski or snowboard during our lesson time only. This is for the 2023 program year only. After 2023, 8+ will only be able to purchase Outreach passes. If your child did not participate in the program last year and is younger than 8 years old, your child is not able to purchase an Outreach pass. Gunstock offers programs for younger children which can be found on their website.

GUNSTOCK'S LIMIT TO NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
​Gunstock evaluated its program to make sure they are providing a great program for the Outreach Program participants. After evaluating the night program, they feel limiting the number of participants will provide a better experience. If we have reached our limit after registering, you will receive a refund. Announcements will be made. The number for the Strafford Recreational Sports program is the following:​- ​Max # of registrations: 65

This is the night to attend to pick up passes if you do not have one, as well as get your rental fitting done. This is the last day to have rentals be pre-set.
